metadata.party provides a free, open-source API service for extracting metadata from URLs. The Service is provided "as is" for informational and development purposes.

3. Rate Limiting and Usage

The Service may implement rate limiting to ensure fair usage and maintain service quality for all users. You agree not to:

• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or malicious code through the Service
• Scrape or harvest data from the Service in an automated or systematic manner

4. Intellectual Property

The Service is open source and licensed under an open-source license. All metadata extracted through the Service belongs to the respective content owners. You are responsible for respecting the intellectual property rights of third parties when using extracted metadata.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Refund Policy

For Pro or any paid subscription plans, refunds will only be issued if a refund request is made within 1 day (24 hours) of the purchase date. Refunds requested after 24 hours of purchase will not be granted.
